Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®

Before you apply, PMI stipulates that all aspiring CAPM®  candidates must possess the following set of CAPM®  Certification requirements

Education Requirements

• High school diploma
• 23 contact hours of project management education training

Experience Requirements:

• None

The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® exam is an entry-level certification that is suitable for individuals who want to differentiate themselves when they come out of college or for anyone who wants to start a career in project management. The certification provides fundamental knowledge and training in how to manage complex projects and a project team.

Apply if you have 0-3 years of project or change management experience.

Note: Students can submit one application form to join PMI as a student member and take the CAPM exam at the member discount rate.
